When I had my senior pictures taken, seven months after my accident, I chose a photographer who promised that he could take pictures without showing my wheelchair. Being newly disabled, I felt ashamed and only wanted people to see me - not my disability.
He did such a good job that when my caregivers were looking at these pictures, recently, they said that they thought the photos were taken BEFORE my accident. Watch today’s vlog to hear more about this experience, and see some of my senior pictures!
