Mental Health Benefits of Massage


Did you know that Doug and I get massages about every two weeks? But before you think, “Wow, Tasha and Doug really pamper themselves” or “Oh, it must be nice; they must be rich!” I want to tell you more about WHY we get massages so often and how we have made this work in our budgets and busy schedules. Because I have a spinal cord injury as well as scoliosis, on top of a very busy career, my muscles that aren’t paralyzed get very tight and sore. Massages help relieve that pain and keep me from having to take pain medication all the time. Plus, they play a big role in helping me manage my stress. Learn more in this video.
