Did you know that as a complete C5/C6 quadriplegic, my lungs do not have their full respiratory function? When I get sick, such as when I’ve had pneumonia or COVID, it’s harder for me to cough, especially compared to someone who is able-bodied, making it easier for the sickness to get worse and forcing me to undergo a longer recovery time.
